There are some important issues covered, making the book quite thought-provoking, and there's an encouraging ending, if a tad too neat and tidy for realism. I read this for our local book group, and we all liked it, some better than others. Not one I'm likely to read again, but I'm glad I read it - the book group is a great way of expanding horizons a little.
