My Thoughts:

Another fine collection by Watterson. I found myself laughing a lot more in this collection than in the previous one. I don't know if that is because this was truly funnier, or if it was because more time had elapsed since my last C&H read.

I've got a few more collections left. Once I'm done with those, I don't know that I'll ever plan on re-reading these. As a teen, C&H enthralled me. As an adult, they're amusing me. I suspect that as a mature adult, they will come across as tedious or shallow. I don't want that and I'd rather never read them again and keep the good memories.

Finally, is that title a mouthful or what? I had to go to Wikipedia and just search out Calvin and Hobbes and then copy/paste the title or else I would have gotten it wrong. ( )

Calvin is a boy growing up with his pet Tiger, whose name is Hobbes. Hobbes is real to Calvin, but his parents just see a stuffed animal. In this collection, Calvin and Hobbes have lots of winter adventures. I feel like this is real to me- when I build a snowman I pretend some of the same things Calvin pretends. This book makes me laugh when they run and get crazy- I really liked it. ( )

I loved Revenge of the Baby-Sat, and I was excited to read Attack of the Deranged Mutant Killer Monster SNOW GOONS.
Calvin and his old buddy, Hobbes, have once again gotten themselves into little adventures, which include duplicating themselves, bringing snowmen to life, and playing Calvinball!
This time though, Calvin and Hobbes have gone a little too far when they bring an actual snowman to life! The snowman creates an army, which Calvin defeats by freezing them with water on a cold night. But apparently, that's not going to save them from getting in trouble with Calvin's parents! There are also more adventures that are just as funny in this collection!
This book is awesome!I recommend it to EVERYBODY. ( )
