Content is in an unusual pattern, but easy enough once you figure it out. An invaluable tool for graduate school! ( )

This printing of the 6th edition is poorly organized and edited and riddled with mistakes. The previous "pocket style" versions are much more usable, in addition to being accurate. If I have to go to another source to check the accuracy of the manual, which I do, then it's useless. ( )

A necessary for those of us in higher educaiton but disagreeably ordered in content which explains the dozen "tab" markers on my mostly commonly used pages. Newer electronic aplications for citations are much easier to use but occasionally need double-checked for accuracy. ( )

APA 6th ed. is, to put it lightly, not my favorite style guide. It is poorly organized, miserably indexed, and internally inconsistent. The sixth edition is obviously a crass attempt to wrest more money from APA style guide users, because the improvements over the fifth edition are, at best, "incremental" - a few new reference types, plus some textual tweaks here and there.

People's careers, academic and otherwise, depend on their ability to use this guide. Often, even experienced users need help with it, especially those in disciplines other than psychology. As such, the APA has ill-served those who rely upon it. ( )
