When Dexter took his daughter to the art exhibition, he didn't expect to see Robin Hester with Mars MacAvoy, a famous actor and severe a-hole. Seeing them together infuriated Dexter. He was tired of getting his heart stomped on by beautiful women like Robin. That was it. He would never think about her again. Then months later he walked into the green room at WBLAT and to his surprise, her curious gaze met his. Robin Hester had a habit of choosing the wrong guy and in effect micro-dosing the sort of poison that would lead to eventual heartbreak. And this time when it happened, not only had Robin lost her desire to be in love but she'd lost her inspiration to create art. It was the morning she planned to announce her decision to quit being an artist to the world. She waited nervously in the green room at WBLAT. Then the door opened and in walked the man whose light blue eyes had been her inspiration from the moment she looked into them-Dexter Frampton. Fifteen minutes later they were live on-air together. Before she could get away with officially announcing her retirement, the sexy, cocky and beautiful man questioned her ability to commit.
