Apart from the two very major problems for a novel in this milieu i.e. 1) No Hawk and 2) No Fisher, this isn't as interesting, or as funny as that book, either. A bloke is hired to impersonate a prince, and ends up way over his head in the world of deadly courtly politics and king killing. Plenty of supernatural 'Unreal' menace to fight as well, to make things even trickier. Add one highly competent stalwart woman, and he has a bit of a chance. http://notfreesf.blogspot.com/2009/02... no reviews | add a review

This is an entertaining fantasy set in the same world as Blue Moon Rising, etc.
