Interesting. I had never really thought about the fear-mongering, the repeated use of "seasonal" stories, and what amount to ads being run as news. Funny, sad, and revealing. ( )

If you're a Farker, then you already know what to expect from this volume. For the rest of you - don't drink while reading this. You will spew something out your nose laughing. You don't want to pass this up, and it will certainly give you a different perspective on the crap that passes for news. ( )

What fun! And informative too. Curtis runs the news website Fark.com. He is in a unique position to critique the media. He details the crappy ways mainstream media package news stories and feed them to us using examples from his website. Some of his topics include "Seasonal Stories", Headline Contradicts Conclusion, and others. Very funny, very informative. ( )
