I love the combination of mythologies, Celtic and American Indian, something I've honestly ... ... says is the least important part of astronomy, it definitely succeeds.
(But Pluto's totally still a planet.)

Guilty ... I finished Urban Shaman by C.E. Murphy, next on the list is Anvil of the World by Kage Baker Finished Newton's Wake yesterday. Next up to read is Urban Shaman by C.E. Murphy. >32 I liked Urban Shaman too! I keep meaning to request the next one from the library but my stack of library books I already have out right now is kind of scary.
Last night I finished Storm Front by Jim Butcher which was very good. I think C.E. Murphy writes strong female characters. She writes an urban fantasy series that starts with Urban Shaman and has another, The Negotiator Series, that starts in November. Hey Booklover have you tried C.E. Murphy in Urban Fantasy? She has a trilogy out, I have only read the first one. It is Urban Shaman it was very good.. They are out in trade size, I'm hoping they come out in MM. I don't like to pay the higher price for trade and I really don't have room on my ... ... finish the series.
But I do want to know what happens next, so I will swallow my doubts and bite the bullet.
As for Urban Shaman I'll get around to that eventually too. In Urban Shaman there are some murders, not really graphically described and there is not really any romance to speak of. The only scene I can think of that was disturbing is the one where there are some high school children who were murdered. That was a touchy scene. The heroine doesn't do a ... Urban Shaman is on my list of intriguing books as well! I read the first chapter on C.E. Murphy's website, and was utterly enthralled. I don't think it falls under the YA tag so I don't know whether or not to pluck up the courage to buy it.
I also read the first chapter of Shadowland on ... I finished Urban Shaman last night which seems like a pretty good introduction to an urban fantasy series. I'll definitely have to go track down and read the other books in the series. Fifty-Fourth Book - Urban Shaman by C.E. Murphy

I'll ... CE Murphy also wrote Urban Shaman if you're interested. I thought it was okay (by the way "okay" for me is three stars usually). I haven't read Lackey but have ordered a couple of her books for my TBR everest. I haven't read Tanith Lee yet either. Does Lee have vamps? I saw that anthology and ... Thanks! I didn't realize Coyote Dreams was part of a series and Urban Shaman was already on my amazon wish list. Also very cool that she is a LT author. I'll probably order it with my next order or request it from the library when I'm done with my TBR pile.

29 Touch of Madness by C.T. Adams & Cathy Clamp (so far no serious romance in this series, but I have faith ... ... to catch up on some of her other stories. The only one I've read by her is Moon Called.
Also, I've never heard of Urban Shaman but it looks great! I'll definately be checking that one out. ... and I liked it a lot. Mercy is a Native American auto mechanic (she needs to hang out w/ C.E. Murphy's heroine of Urban Shaman etc). She's a shapechanging coyote, not the same as the werewolves in the book who are partially moon driven, but raised by werewolves (just caught the ... Hey Wyvern- I listened to Urban Shaman last summer and thought it was a bit unusual. I've been meaning to pick up Compass Rose too since I've heard so much about it.
DL, I finally started Moon Called today. So far I like it. ... read about 1/4 of the books on the Luna List (I did a List of Bests here: http://www.listsofbests.com/list/12116) I liked Urban Shaman and Thunderbird Falls by C E Murphy, I also liked Charmed Sphere, Compass Rose and Winter Moon
