... but the two that I have read several times were Starship Troopers and Lord of the Rings. I recently re-read Forward the Foundation and The Moon is a Harsh Mistress, but didn't find them as enjoyable the second time around.

Just finished Isaac Asimov's Prelude op de Foundation and Foundation: Voorwaarts. Now reading Foundation Trilogie.

I just re-read Forward the Foundation by Isaac Asimov, about 10 years after the first go, and I was a bit disappointed. Asimov wrote clunky prose (especially dialogue), in my opinion, and it detracted from an otherwise fascinating storyline. My disappointment may just be reflecting my age ...

I just finished The Terror, by Dan Simmons. VERY good. I am currently re-reading Forward the Foundation. It is almost like reading it for the first time, since I haven't read it in 15 years.

... Days of Magic, Nights of War. After that, I'm going to work on finishing Revelation Space. I also need to finish Forward the Foundation, Inherit the Stars, Ilse Witch, The Listeners, and Dhalgren. I have such a bad habit of starting books but never finishing them!
