The tears started to flow on page 3 and didn't stop until I had finished the book. Despite that, the emotions conveyed in the letters are very touching and remind the reader of the horror and waste of war. Highly recommended. ( )Emotionally moving letters sent by soldiers home during wars starting with the American Revolution. A poignant reminder to hold gratitude in your heart each and every day for the blessings you have. Well worth reading by men and women of faith who are thenselves veterans. no reviews | add a review
