I really liked the story and the plot. It was fast paced and it didn't give you time to get even a little bored with anything. The plot was really great too,but I wish we got to know a little more about David Palmer and how he and Eve came to know eachother, but that was quickly resolved with the flashbacks the author put throughtout the book. Recommend it,as always. ( )

Consistently Good Writing

I enjoyed J.D. Robb's novella, Midnight in Death. It's a quick and easy read, especially if you're familiar with her other In Death titles. No surprises in the plot here, Eve Dallas and Roarke are a great couple, as usual, and the story spins along at a fast pace. The ending might just be a little facile, but overall I was satisfied with this short story. ( )

Typical Eve-Roarke. If you are reading this short, you are committed to the series. Good, bad, or in-between. ( )

In this book, a serial killer (David Palmer) that Eve helped put away 3 years ago has managed to get loose and is killing people attached to the case. The first murder is the judge who put him away, and at the scene of the crime, Palmer left a list of 6 people he's going to come after, ending with Dr. Mira and Eve Dallas....

After Palmer kills 2 or 3 people, Mira gets taken, and Eve has to HURRY HURRY HURRY to figure out where he is so she can save her. Suffice it to say, Mira makes it and continues to be a secondary character in the books. It was a pretty good. Intense at the end, for sure! ( )
