This book was really useful to start up knitting and as a reference. I did most of the simple projects in it and from there grew and expanded into other designers. I think that Debbie Bliss is one of the easiest authors for knitting. ( )

This book is really helpful to those starting out to knit. There are many examples (and drawings) of what to do with each step. Additionally, there are sections devoted to just about everything you will encounter while making the projects inside. As for the projects, I really like most of them and can see myself making and wearing them. Overall a really great book for beginners with some great designs. ( )
