Better than the last Discworld novel (Making Money), but still not one of his best books. I liked the Discworld version of football, however the part of the story concerning Nutt's background was a bit convoluted. Maybe that will be further ... I finished reading Making Money by Terry Pratchett last night and I am hooked. I read Thud! last year and was not impressed at all. A lot of people worship Terry Pratchett, but I didn't think his writing was as funny as Jasper Fforde or Douglas Adams. Well, I have changed my mind. Discworld ... ... could identify with many of the situations and it had me howling with laughter at times.

Making Money by Terry Pratchett
I've read most of the Discworld novels, so this is a review from that most dreaded of reviewers, A Fan.
"Making Money" was a great, fun read, as with any Discworld novel. I'll take my least favorite Discworld novel over most other novels.
However, ... Oooh. I'm already in the middle of Making Money, and just started Anna Karenina, but...that's tempting.
