A great book of world history from ancient Greek down to American, with the focus on God's hand in directing it all. Very interesting, easy to follow, and informative. You can learn so much about various leaders in different countries, the most fascintaing being George Washington and the Revolutionary War. Skousen portrays victories of the colonists at war for independance with England, giving readers an appreciation of God's direction in the events, while describing numerous battlefield miracles. As an overview of world history, it cannot be over-rated, even if you are not overly interested in the Christian aspect. ( )
