I have lost the same 2-4 pounds endlessly (and any woman I know nodds her head here) I chose this book arbitrarily and told my husband - they're all the same, I just need one which gives me a clear eating/cooking plan and this is the current favorite.

Except, except they're not all the same, becuause I am up to 8 pounds lost and it's working far better than all the hundreds of other books/schemes I've tried. I've done south beach and weight watchers and jenny craig and even had fancy food delivered to my door. And this is better. It's harsh - in that it cuts out a huge amount of food groups - basically all refined sugar and most grains - but it's effective and I eat what it tells me too and like the book promised, the weight is starting to slowly melt off. For the first time in a long time, I feel hopeful. ( )
