As a reader I enjoyed this book. I really liked the illustrations, they matched the "African" nature of the book. I also liked that the book had a central theme or message about taking time, and being patient which is something most young readers will need to learn. The book was very cute, but not a favorite. Although it was a folktale it wasn't overly interesting with details. I would recommend this book for young readers ( )
