Made me laugh so hard my orange juice came out my nose. Anybody with a quirky sense of humour will enjoy this book. The ridiculously polite German narrator and his obsession is worth buying it alone; throw in Evil Villains of the like who leave their shoelaces undone for the sheer evil thrill of it and Dark Shady Figures who yo-yo in an intimidating manner, and I can honestly say that no bookshelf is complete without this gem. If you like exaggerated characters (father ted, black books, PG Wodehouse, etc) and have a bit of an off-beat sense of humour, you'll definitely enjoy this.
