Amazon.com Product Description (ISBN 0965292215, Paperback)

IdentaFONT Sans Serif is one of a set of four type reference guides that are perfect design tools for graphic artists and printers. All PostScript fonts from 19 major font suppliers are divided into four categories: Serif, Sans Serif, Script and Display; each is a separate book within the set. Each letter and number is illustrated together. For example, all the A's are together, all the B's, etc.. By comparing letters or numbers only, one can identify an unknown font in seconds. Included is a complete cross reference, showing the full face, suppliers of each font and the address, URL and toll free numbers of all font manufacturers. As a design tool, IdentaFONT helps select the correct font for any specific job. Checking the first letter of a key word will make selection of a font very simple. Example, for the word ARCHITECTURE, looking at the letter M immediately suggests Avant Garde Gothic from Agfa, Adobe and many others.
