Leí este libro hace muchos años ya y me encantó. La autora fue una de mis escritoras favoritas por un largo tiempo, leí muchos de sus libros. Le hubiera dado cinco estrellas cuando lo leí por primera vez. Sin embargo, releyéndolo ahora después de diez años me ha decepcionado bastante, quizá en parte porque tenía al libro en el pedestal de la nostalgia.
El estilo juvenil de escritura me gusta, pero la trama me parece un poco sosa, será que me he vuelto mayor. El triángulo amosoroso me da repelús y me parece no tener sentido, y de alguna manera, la trama entera se basa en él.
Leyendolo me fijé qué alguna frases estaban subrayadas por mi yo del pasado... no las subrayaba por que fueran especialmente profundas, sino porque entonces estaba muy interesada en el tema de la escritura y subrayaba cosas que a mí nunca se me habría ocurrido explicar o describir en mis textos. I read the "Memorias" trilogy when I was living and teaching in Spain. I thought that they were at a juvenile reading level. I thoroughly enjoyed reading them and had no difficulties with the language since I have read novels and literature at the University level. I thought the story was interesting, and the characters were relatable. These are fun fantasy fiction reads for young adults. ( )
