Summary:
A very colorful book of drawings and sketches depicting the characters of Alien and Predator. This book is certainally for older kids around 8th grade and above. The pictures sometimes contain explanations for what is going on, what the artist was trying to express or what the character was saying in the scene. It is a great book for budding artists but is too harsh for younger children and some parents still may object even for older kids.

Review:
I've included this "picture book" simply because my eldest boy (age 14) complained that all I had were 'baby' books in my virtual library. As a mother I had to change my desires for what my children read and were exposed to as their tastes changed. My boys both love the guts and gore of Science Fiction and fantasy books. They love this visual representation of the movies and the many artists included in this book. It is not for all, but some older kids will enjoy this collection. ( )
