3141. Victoria and her daughters, by Nina Epton (read Jan 1, 1999) This is a book I got for a nickel or dime at a rummage sale, and is written in an adequate way, tho not by a real historian. Victoria only had 5 daughters, and on balance they did not have happy lives. This was an easy to read book, tho I suppose not very important. But royal biography has been an interest of mine since 1945 when I read some Bertita Harding books which bowled meover--especially Golden Fleece / The Story of Franz Joseph and Elizabeth of Austria (finished June 24, 1945).
