I read this book along with other stories about people living with HIV. I found this one to be much more optimistic than others because no one dies at the end, instead they celebrate life. ( )

Sara is a mother of 2 that struggles with the AIDS virus everyday. Sara must remain strong for her 2 children, so she can raise them to her full potential. Sara loves New Years and has a big celebration every year, because a new year means Sara has lived for a year. That was my favorite part, because it was so meaningful. Sara is lucky to have the medical and financial support of her job and the emotional support of her family. Sara educated her children on the disease and how she contacted it, thankfully her children tested negative. She is very involved with her community and continues to be active within the AIDS community. ( )
