Is one of those stories that the movie and the book are really good.

For dog lovers is wonderful, because is a heartwarming story full of adventure. This book is a about Joe and his dog Lassie. They love each other and play together. One day Lassie is taken far way from him...in fact his parents sold Lassie because they have no money!! and Joe is devastated, he needs Lassie to be happy.

However, Lassie escapes and travels approximately one thousand miles south to return home. Her journey is full of obstacles. Lassie encounters good and bad people and animals and suffers injuries... but at the the end she finds her home full of love and belly rub. ( )
