As a self-proclaimed kitchen witch, I've always thought if you can't find it in the kitchen, you don't need it for a spell. Cunningham's book does a great job of pointing out magical tools and ingredients in the kitchen and occassionally states WHY they are (that's my one constant gripe with Cunningham-not enough of the WHY). But there are good recipes and spell ideas in here, along with good tools for spellcraft. ( )
