This one is a timeless read which could happen today at a Supreme Court hearing. ( )
  cynthiakcoe | Oct 6, 2017 |
When an Ohio lawyer who has become the ultimate Washington insider is nominated for the Supreme Court, murder and scandal follow in quick succession. Congressman Benton Sanford is on hand to sort out the details of a very public murder. Competent mystery and a good picture of how Washington works. Lacks the personality of the John Putnam Thatcher books. ( )
