This book presents the work of young Argentine illustrator Christian Montenegro, who has visually updated a selection of these powerful tales including stories of creation, Adam and Eve, Noah's ark, the Tower of Babel and Sodom and Gomorrah. While Montenegro's illustrations and designs have more in common with the emotions of Expressionism and the texture of woodblock prints, their distinctly contemporary feel gives new life to the Biblical texts that appear alongside the images.
