Pastor Luke Butler is a young dynamic preacher at a Christian youth centre in Sydney. Across the road is a sexual health clinic offering advice to young people which is run by Aggie Gray. When the clinic is threatened by christian fundamentalists this throws Luke and Aggie together. They are immediately attracted to one another but have completely opposing views about teen pregnancy and pro-choice arguments. When a young girl named Honey is thrown into the mix her arrival highlights all that is different between Luke and Aggie.
This is a novel examining social and religious issues from differing viewpoints. The characters are flawed and likeable and you really care about them and on the whole an enjoyable read. Highly recommended. ( )
