Better than the Hare Krishna books that are given away though. The pictures in those things are wacky. I prefer the Principa Discordia or the Tao Te Ching. Also, the paper is wicked thin so it rips and creases easily. Story is a bit dull, it would have been better with the inclusion of some motorcycle chases. Excellent for squashing bugs! ( )http://legoquescribo.blogspot.com/200... About my Bibles A simple translation but not a paraphrase. We call it the Stick Person Bible because of the illustrations. This was the Bible our church gave to all the second-graders. This edition includes both Old and New Testaments, with supplementary Word List, Septuagint Readings, and Outline Chart of Bible History. "The basic text for the Old Testament is the Masoretic Text printed in Biblia Hebraica (3rd edition, 1937), edited by Rudolph Kittel. ... The basic text for the New Testament is The Greek New Testament published by the United Bible Societies (3rd edition, 1976), but in a few instances the translation is based on a variant reading supported by one or more Greek manuscripts." Illustrated with ipressive line drawings. no reviews | add a review
