The town of Gurven is building a church. The glassmakers are all working on their part - the windows. Problem is, each glassmaker favors a different color. When they hold up the project and annoy the townspeople, the mayor demands they work together and finish the project. Briefly discusses the feelings of red, blue and yellow. ( )

We love buildings and architecture, especially churches. The artistic aspect of the stained glass windows was fascinating for our young mind. This will likely be one of our most memorable books, more for our interest in the topic than for the actual book itself. It is a typical children's picture book where a village must build a large church complete with a stained glass window. ( )
