'Mackenzie's Pleasure' was an entertaining romance from one of my favorite series -- you can't really go wrong with a Mackenzie man. Yet again, I wish Howard has made every installment of this series full-length novels.

'Defending His Own' held less interest for me; it was a good story, but it didn't really stay with me once I'd finished reading. ( )
