Nick Jarros's teenage daughter, Wendy, seeks help from an advice columnist for teenagers, Aunt Miranda, because she feels her father is too strict. Aunt Miranda's response to Wendy berates Nick's parenting skills and says that he doesn't give his daughter enough freedom. This makes Nick see red, so he goes to seek out this Aunt Miranda to give her a piece of his mind. He's expecting to find a little old lady so he is surprised when Aunt Miranda turns out to be a sexy and attractive young woman, Randy Wade. Randy and Nick start off on the wrong foot, but after chance meetings keep throwing the two together, they can no longer deny their attraction to each other.

This was such a fun and cute romance with lots of humorous situations in it. The cast of characters were very likable. Nick and Randy had terrific chemistry. I thought the scene that took place at the drive-in movie was a lot of fun, and the Aunt Miranda letters at the beginning of each chapter provided a nice touch to the story. ( )

Book description
AS IF NICK JARROS
didn't have enough trouble raising a teenage daughter on his own, he now had to contend with some harebrained advice columnist who called herself Aunt Miranda. But no Miss Lonely Hearts was going to get away with giving idiotic advice to his daughter; he'd make sure of that!

When he thundered into Randy Wade's office, demanding to speak to Aunt Miranda, she wished she could hide underneath the desk. It was either that or throw herself into his arms. He was unbelievably handsome. He was incredibly angry. Randy needed protection. Not only was her professional reputation at stake--so was her heart!
