I liked this book due to the fact it was similar to a textbook with an index and experiments to do. The book was interesting and I learned a lot about the different animals in the sea. I wanted to try one of the experiments but I did not have time. The illustrations helped in visualizing what the text was describing so people could understand what he meant. For example, when he was talking about a school of fish and had a picture of a group of fish next to it to show what a “school” of fish would look like. I enjoyed the Check it out blurbs it had because it is little tidbits of information that is interesting. Overall the message of the book was to inform people of the animals of the ocean and their customs and scientific wording. ( )
