He is cute and funny, and the stories he's in by Melanie Watt just make me smile. Prone to being scared and making lists, Scaredy Squirrel is on the hunt for the perfect friend. Does he find one? ( )Still charming, but not as original as the first. This book is very funny. This book is about a squirrel who is nervous about making friends. This book could be used in the classroom on the first day of class to teach children that its okay to be nervous about making new friends. The adventures of Scaredy Squirrel as he ventures out of his tree to try and make a new and safe friend. He meets a friend who he thinks is dangerous but ends up being one of the best friends he has ever met. Great book for Counselors! Good themes that capture children's interest and give them ways to get the confidence to take a risk and reach outside the box. Excellent vocab and pictures! no reviews | add a review
