It's difficult for me to express just how much ass was kicked in this one book alone. Anybody who has read and enjoyed previous volumes of Hellsing owes it to themselves to read through the story up until this point. It's just that damned good and I sincerely hope it will not be another two years until the release of volume 9. ( )

I love Hellsing so much! This volume is no exception. At last, Alucard returns to the scene to wreak his unique brand of mayhem. We even get a tiny peek into Alucard's past as a human. I would like to say that I can hardly wait for Volume 9, but, considering that it took a year and a half for Volume 8 to come out, I guess I'll just be happy I finally have new Hellsing in my hands, and enjoy re-reading this volume over and over again.
