This is an excellent primer for anyone who wants to learn more about investing. It's concise and complete at the same time. There are parts that highlights WSJ's resource as expected, but there is sufficient explanation about every aspect of the investment world including history, investment vehicles, risks, retirement. The author even sprinkles a little well place humor here and there, just enough to give you a chuckle but without making it sound frivolous.

As an added bonus, this book gives a very good reading recommendation list at the end of each chapter. ( )
