Looked through your lists and wonder if I can join the read for Storm Front in January. I already have a copy.

I'm also doing Storm Front in January. Maybe we should do Betrayal of the Blood Lily for our Valentine's Day read? That's what I did with The Seduction of the Crimson Rose. Just a thought. I'm in no matter what date we decide on...

I am up for co-reading Storm Front and Betrayal of the Blood Lily! Any excuse to talk book. :) I love Lauren Willig. She is one of the few authors in what I call "The Back and Forth Genre" (where the author alternates between two story lines in two different times) where I am equally ...

VictoriaPL and I are planning a tandem read of Storm Front for next year. I don't remember if we set a time. You are welcome to participate if you'd like.

Hi Stasia - I've already got a Jim Butcher on my tbr list thanks to LT, I think it's Storm Front. I'm also a fan of Richard Peck and will have to look out for the Blossom Culp series which I've never heard of. Kudos for finishing Don Quixote, I have it here and am not tempted to pick it ...

... - Katylit. Try the Southern Vampire series, starting with Dead Until Dark and perhaps the Dresden Files, starting with Storm Front. They're not the best, literature-wise, but they're very engrossing.

I might start filling in recommendations just so that I don't forget titles. Also, if I like Storm Front (the first book in the Dresden Files which I have out from the library now), I expect that some of those titles will find their way into the "genreblending" category. Other than that, as I ...

I finished Storm Front by Jim Butcher. It was good little fantasy novel, about a wizard P.I. Clever & fast-paced. I'll probably read the next book in the series. I started The Lost City of Z by David Grann. This was given to me by an LT friend and it looked very compelling. Based on the ...
