Different people dance in different ways, but how can you dance when something is holding you back. This book shows you different ways you can dance when you are hurt, people are in the way, or you are scared. This is a great book to share with children because they can relate to the different situations. The children can also act out how they could dance if a problem came their way. ( )

Rhyming text explores the many ways one can dance, like the leader of a marching band, like a crab on a sunny day, like a tree as it waves in the breeze.

Amazon.com Product Description (ISBN 039923229X, Hardcover)

It's no secret kids love to dance, and the quirky kids and animals in this book find inspiration everywhere. How can you dance if you're lying on the floor? Dance like a snake as it slithers to explore. How can you dance when you're mad as a bee? Dance around, around, around-wildly. Each page also includes a second verse kids can chant as they jump out of their seats to dance.

This energetic celebration of movement will encourage kids to boogie through any mood.
