Set in Norway. The Nazis kill Chris' father for working for the resistance. Chris' older brother, Bent, is injured while sabotaging German oil tanks. He and Chris are rescued by Tom, another member of the resistance, but there is a traitor, the unknown Paul. It could be either Bent or Tom. They join the Free Norwegian Forces. Bent is killed, Chris becomes a soldier. The war ends, but it is a bitter victory.
Writing is unconnected and a little heavy - possibly a bad translation?
