Krull takes her readers back to a time when Americans believed aliens had landed on Earth. This book is a fun read, and I would recommend it to any of my students interested in aliens or American history. This book is appropriate for first through fifth graders.

This is a great book for students to be introduced to non-fiction text. This is because it is entertaining and also combined with "rumors" to make it interesting and show students that non-fiction is just as fun as well as fiction itself.

A little book that discusses the first noted incident at Roswell, and briefly outlines the early history of alien fascination in the United States. Also touches a bit on certain wars that may have contributed to the "alien invasion" fear. At the end it provides sources and websites for further investigation, but they don't seem kid-oriented. ( )
