Jo Davison can’t believe her rotten luck! On an evening that she is supposed to meet Tracy for dinner, Tracy doesn’t show, and her ex-fiancée and his new lover, Babette decide to eat at the same restaurant. She would rather die than face Noah and Bimbette alone, so she brazenly comes on the handsome stranger across the bar. Being the gentleman that he is, he plays along with her charade, making Noah and Bimbette/Babette furious. Luckily for her, he wants to take their charade one-step further, he wants to take her home. Jo has been lonely and feeling rejected long enough, so she jumps at the chance to be desired by a perfect stranger. He makes her feel alive in ways that her loser ex, Noah, never did. She heads home with Vincenz (exotic name for an exotic man) to experience some intense lovemaking and some extraordinary pleasure. Not knowing that while she is delighting in her sinful debauchery, her best friend is being killed.

Vincenz is a vampire that has settled in Shady Valley in the Shadow Manse only briefly before his demise. He is tired of his endless life and not being successful with love. That is, until Jo crosses his path. She needs his help and he needs her, body and soul. He is fascinated with her, and wants to reveal all of his secrets to her so that they can share their lives together. However, once he has revealed what he is, she automatically assumes that he killed her friend. Knowing full well that he did no such thing because he was with Jo the entire time, he sets out to prove to her that he isn’t a killer. He only wants to be with her, for eternity. Making her believe him is harder than he thought as she is determined not to have anything to do with him. He is determined that she will. It is a battle of the wills, stubborn human against relentless vampire. Who will win? ( )

Book description
When she least expects it, Jo Davison meets the most alluring man she has ever seen. Vincenz Cristescu is tall, dark and handsome, and his sexy accent melts her body with the heat of her desire. When sparks fly between them, she throws caution to the wind and goes home with him.

But evil lurks in the darkness in Shadow Valley as tragedy strikes. Jo’s mundane world has become a thing of nightmares, and Vincenz seems to be right in the middle of the horror. She must face the most difficult choice she will ever make--save the man she loves or destroy the vampire who murdered her best friend.

Unfortunately, they may be the same person...
