Like all the other "You Wouldn't Want to Be..." series books, this one does not disappoint the young reader. Humorous captions, cartoons and factoids throughout the book make learning history painless. Some grown-ups make object to the gritty realistic descriptions, but these are what attract the young readers, especially boys! To me, these books are a must to supplement history texts in the middle grades.Warning: When ordering them, be sure to get them in the United States, as the cost of the UK books is double! ( )
