A nearly complete oeuvre of Ellison's work. Particularly chilling were I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream and A Boy and His Dog-- both epitomes of post-apocalyptic horror and science fiction. Ellison weaves many of his stories with masterful strokes, but some fall short of their mark. Nonetheless, it is a memorable collection and I am all the better for reading it.

Recommended for those interested in Ellison or the genres he falls into.

Additionally, Ellison viewed himself as a story writer instead of a genre writer. You might be surprised at what you find. It's worth a read. ( )

I skipped too many stories to be able to claim I read this. Iirc there were articles and/or memoirs, too, which I didn't read.
