I think that he's one of the most imaginative authors of our time. Invasive Procedures, a joint effort by him and Aaron Johnston was exciting. I don't usually like thrillers, which this definitely was, but I enjoyed it. In this story a geneticist goes a bit bonkers and creates a religion of sorts with him, of course, as the fearless leader. He has the ability to change a person's DNA to make them stronger, healthier, and cure genetic diseases by injecting them with a virus designed just for them. Exciting and scary! A good summer read. This was interesting and I don't regret reading it... but I do regret that they sold it as an OSC book when it really isn't. The writing style really shows it. This only bothers me because I am so hesitant to spend money in a way that it gets back to him so I have been borrowing his books from the library hoping that it diffuses the money spent on the book between a lot of people and allows me to carry less culpability in furthering his political and moral crusades. But damn, I really do enjoy his tales. no reviews | add a review
