Like many satirical pieces, the premise tends to fall apart at the end. However, there are some humorous events to take us toward the calamitous finish. ( )

This one was a bit redundant and not as funny as the other ones in my catalog. Very poignant though, worth reading. Dan Haggerty as a character in your book is just funny. ( )

[Frankern] is really quite witty—which is much better than being funny—when he is being purely political. But he is barely even funny when funny is all he is trying to be.

Franken has perfect pitch but doesn't know when to stop singing. This, combined with the problem that his song is already playing nonstop on C-Span, makes ''Why Not Me?'' slight entertainment.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist David Broder once wrote something to the effect that "anyone who's willing to do what it takes to be president should be immediately disqualified." And that's why I want to be your president.
