As a cricket follower its the type of book that you can pick up and read whilst watching a match live or on television. Anectotal with some funny stories, some interesting and a couple of goolies. Not a serious book but a bit of fun. Previous reviewewer marks it down and suggests it is only of interest to the cricket lover. In view of the books title I would have felt it obvious that someone not interested in cricket would not have considered reading it. ( )

A collection of anecdotes, a few laugh out loud, most not.

I suppose if you are really into cricket and it's history then this would appeal to you, otherwise don't bother. ( )
