I managed to drop my copy of Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban into a river a couple of years ago. In an effort to try to salvage it I blowdried every single page, the book is now very ugly, with bumpy dicoloured pages, but is still very much readable. I like to think it adds character, ... ... By ... On the PS2 version of the Prisoner of Azkaban they had games you could use along with the EyeToy. It is one of the few video games I've ever enjoyed and my son also enjoys it. It is nice to be able to move around (a bit) while playing. I loaned Prisoner of Azkaban to someone at the start of the New Year. She still has it.

Favorite book out of the 7?
The Goblet of Fire. It is such an intense story. The close runner up for my favorite is The Prisoner of Azkaban.
A spell or magical item you really wish existed in our world? I have to agree with Foggiedawn about the Scourgify spell. I could really use ... Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was one of my absolute favorites in the series and I feel the movie lived up to my expectations. I prefer the dark feel of the movie to the previous two. Although, it wasn't as good as the book I felt it was a good representation. ... who was on Time's cover mid-year, and America's love for Harry grew like wildfire from that point forward, with The Prisoner of Azkaban, still then being referred to as the 3rd of a trilogy, outselling every other book in sight.

I liked the epilogue. It appealed to my innately sappy nature. I realized it was badly written, but I liked the content and felt it was very appropriate for a children's series. Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban. I stopped liking the series after that one (though I read a few more, I didn't finish the series); I think she could have cut it off at a trilogy.

That way, those who can only read three or four chapters this coming week can catch up the following week.

As far as which books I could jump into, any of the Harry Potter series, though Prisoner of Azkaban is my first choice. Beauty by Robin McKinley has long been a favorite of mine, and I would love to go there, both to the cottage and to the ... i've managed to read Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone, The Chamber of Secrets, The Prisoner of Azkhaban, and The Goblet of Fire, all in 6 days - and now working on The Order of The Phoenix... ... Columbus directed the first two Harry Potter movies (need I say more?). Alfonso Cuarón, however, did a real nice job w/ Prisoner of Azkaban. I didn't see the two after that (i completely lost interest in reading the series after being subjected to pages of expository monologue "explaining ... ... a great place to find audio books!

This is my first time reading the Harry Potter series. I really enjoyed this book! . . . and I guess I'll answer my own question.
Well, my favorite book in the series is still Prisoner of Azkaban, though I really couldn't tell you which one would be in second place -- four-way tie between DH, SS/PS, HBP, and OotP.
