It's good for toddlers and very young beginner learners. Helps them learn to count but also to help them connect them with actual objects.

Count and See is a great learning tool for counting association. Next to the number 5, the picture shows five real windows in a building. Children and adults can read the number and count the objects. This book is fun and interactive. Not to mention Hoban's awesome photography skills. She captures mood and reality in each of her photos.

There are things to count all around you. If you look. And think. And see. Tana Hoban does -- and so will the youngest reader who accompanies her through this book. Exciting photographs -- reinforce by the number as word, as numeral, and as model set -- show you how to count what you see, and make what you see count.

(retrieved from Amazon Thu, 12 Mar 2015 18:24:14 -0400)

Photographs of common objects and events illustrate the numbers one through one hundred.
