It goes over the number 1-15 then goes by tens to 100. I think this would be a good book for students to work in centers with. It would not be the best whole group book. I would only work in small groups or one on one with students with this book. ( )Great book! Best for children just learning to count. This book is also great for children who need to practice their numbers. Although this is a counting book, it is great for literacy because it offers a wide variety of pictures and the names of the pictures can be sounded out, etc. I thought this book was interesting. It was a little different anyway, but I'm not sure how captivating it would be for children. There are no words - only numbers and pictures. The pictures are photographs and they represent whatever number is being counted. The pictures were of all different kinds of things from trash cans to candles on a cake to birds on a wire. They were nicely done photographs, but I don't think kids would appreciate this. I did like that there were also dots next to the number so kids could see how many dots each number represented which I think is great for beginning math skills. Again though, not sure how captivating this book is. no reviews | add a review
