I loved the book, Three Hungry Spiders and One Fat Fly by Dawn Bentley, because the story is exciting and the toy spiders on the pages engages the children and helps direct their attention and focus. I read this story to my nephews Kindergarten class and all of the children enjoyed it very much. The story has a lot of repetitive language which is helpful for children in a Kindergarten class because they are beginning learners and memorization is a beginning part of reading. The illustrations are also very good and the bright colors make the pictures exciting. This book is not about Halloween but would be considered a good book to bring out around Halloween because spiders are a traditional halloween animal. ( )

These spiders are creepy ... These spiders are stretchy ... These spiders are ever-so-popular...
