cute poetry reading. Shows a rambunctious kid that does not want to clean.. This may lead to the importance of chore and listening to your parents. Good little story with vivid pictures and bright colors. k-2

This book contains multiple different poems all discussing chores. There are poems about making your bed, doing laundry, recycling, setting the dinner table, doing dishes, dusting, shoveling snow, and many more. There is a poem on each page and the illustrations were very detailed and well done. I thought this was a good story and has a good lesson to it and shows kids how doing chores can be fun. I think this would be a good book to have in a younger elementary classroom when they beging to learn about poems and different types of poems. You could always relate this back to the students and have them write their own poem about a chore that they normally do at home. ( )
