This book reminded me of the childhood song I remember singing, "Ten little monkeys jumping on the bed, one fell off and busted his head." Similar to the song, the monkeys all seem to get in trouble and a monkey disappears each time. Eventually, all ten monkeys are back to start all over again. ( )

This book begins like "5 little monkeys jumping on the bed" but then as we count down, the monkeys get hurt doing different things. It has fabulous bright illustrations and is quite humorous. ( )

10 little monkeys jumping on the bed - we all know the popular nursery rhyme. But then the 9 little monkeys, in this book, race out the door... and then 8 do something else... and on it goes. All the while, the doctor is getting more and more exasperated! A great book to share with infants, toddlers, and older children who will appreciate the antics of the monkeys, and the different takes on a well-loved rhyme.
