Depending on where I am in life, I always end up identifying with a different sister and for me that just makes the book better. This book is a classic! It's the story of the March girls' lives. They are all very different characters but they pull together when times get tough. It's heart-warming and inspiring. One of my all time favorite classics-I loved the book and the movie versions. My grandmother gave me this when i was very young. I love it so much i've read it usually once a year ever since. I have always identified with Jo and the romance between her and Prof. Bhaer gets me every time. : ) no reviews | add a review

I have a sister but I think we can't live without parents. Those women are strong! (
